Have you guys heard about this?

Some freak of a teacher cut off this little girl's hair in front of her class because she wouldn't stop playing with her braids!



I'm confused: why isn't this assault and/or battery? She threatened the girl, physically touched the girl, and cut a piece of her body off. Not to mention the humiliation and embarrassment.

I was not a girly girl growing up, and actually frequently stated that I wanted to be a boy (becuase girls couldn't play football, and it wasn't fair!!), but if anyone had ever actually cut my hair, I would have been hysterical! Having long, curly hair, I was threatened by other students twice or so, and they got ISS for it! So how on earth can a teacher actually cut the girl's hair off and not only be free of any crimminal charges, but also still be teaching with no punishment from the school district as of yet?!

On the other hand, there are five more fingers.
Then we have: #1 High school basketball tournament in the county (me doing play by play for our school's games).

conclusion: there is a very bad planned wedding.

Oh tonight, what a night.

So I had a double header scheduled, planning to go back and forth after that to watch our other two teams. Instead our A team was short 3 players and had to use me, so I played catcher. I brought it like never before! (for me) 2 of 3, 4 of 4 on base with a Walk, 2 hits, and a fielders choice. I had some command tonight and put the ball where I wanted it twice. 2 RBIs, and set up another. Plus, guy hits a high foul ball and I figure nothing to loose so I set to try and catch it, and I do. Unbelievable game for me.

C game 2: 2 of 3*, 1 walk, one "ground" out (hit the dirt first), Ironically it was one of my best "hits." I managed and brought home the second win of the year for C team. runner "walked" in, 1 RBI

C game 1: 2 of 3*, strikeout? (not sure as it wasn't marked). 2 runs scored. Strangely, the only runs I scored were in the game we lost.

A game: 2 of 3 2 RBIs (maybe 3?) 1 fielders choice, 2 hits, 1 walk.

The season:
14-32 On base .438
11-25 batting avg .440
8 walk
11 Hits
5 RBI
3 Runs
2 FCs

Which of course means having to shop.

Basketball last night was domination 50+ point win. Softball was rained out, alas I now have not gotten to play in a month.

I haven't had the urge to make any more santa hat icons this week, that's actually a bit surprising. Now that I think about it, Gin with the right hat could be amusing...

Anyhow, got the Mannheim steamroller playing in the background to officially set the Christmas mood around here.

I'm considering doing a different crazy project this year, it's an amusing idea in my head...
